Lineage 2 · Eternal
Questions about Eternal
Before you start
- When does Eternal open?
- The beta opens on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at 18:00 UTC (20:00 in Athens). The launch is on Friday 18 December 2026 at 18:00 UTC.
- Can I register now?
- Not yet. Registration opens with the beta on 1 December. Join our Discord to hear the moment it opens.
- Is the beta wiped?
- Yes. Characters made in the beta are deleted before the launch. Your account stays, so you are ready on 18 December.
- Will Eternal ever wipe?
- No. After the launch, Eternal is permanent.
- Which chronicle is it?
- Interlude.
Money
- Is it free?
- Yes. Eternal is free to play, and there is nothing to buy.
- Can I donate?
- No. There are no donations, no shop and no VIP.
- Then who pays for the servers?
- We do. The team pays for the servers, and nothing for sale ever changes the game.
Rates and play
- What are the rates?
- x0.8 for experience, skill points, adena, drop and spoil. A free 12-hour vote rune takes them to x1.
- Is there a level cap?
- Yes, in stages. The cap lifts on a published calendar; the exact levels and dates come after the beta.
- Can I box?
- No. One game window per person.
- Is there an NPC buffer?
- No full buffer. The newbie buffs last up to the current level cap.
Accounts and fair play
- Can I share my account with a friend?
- No. Account sharing is bannable: a warning, then a 7-day suspension, then a ban.
- How many PCs can I play from?
- Up to 3 per account. Need another? Open a support ticket or ask an admin on Discord.
- What about bots?
- Not allowed. We run our own anti-cheat, and a bot account is banned.
Playing
- What do I need?
- A Windows 10 or 11 PC and our launcher, which is available from the beta. The anti-cheat needs the PC's security chip (TPM 2.0) switched on; most recent PCs have one.
- Can I play on Mac or Linux?
- Not at the start.
- Which languages?
- The site and our Discord speak English, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish.
- Where do I get help?
- On our Discord until the beta; from the beta also by a support ticket on this site.
