Server Rules and Acceptable Use

Last updated: 2026-11-01. Version: 2026-11-01.

This text is published in English, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish. The English text is the binding version; the translations are provided for convenience, and where a translation differs from the English text, the English text governs.

These rules apply to everything you do here: the website, your master account, your game accounts and your characters on any server.

By using the service you agree to follow them.

Who operates this service

Menaris Network
menaris.net

For anything about this document or your account, ask us on our Discord (the link is at the bottom of every page) or open a support ticket from your account.

One account per person

One person, one master account. Under it you create your game accounts and your characters.

Do not create a second master account for yourself. Do not create an account for someone who has been banned, and do not hand your account to a banned person.

Age

Your date of birth is required when you register. If you are under the digital-consent age of your own country, we cannot register you. To buy anything you must be 18 or over, and your age is checked at the moment of purchase. Every purchase must be authorised by the account holder.

If your date of birth is wrong, open a support ticket and tell us what it should be and why. It can be corrected once, and not by you.

One game window per person

Running more than one game client at once is called multi-boxing. It is not allowed. One person plays one live game window at a time.

A second live window is not allowed, on the same account or another one, on the same PC or another one. Software that plays a second client for you is botting, covered next.

No cheats, bots, macros or third-party programs

Do not use cheats, or anything that plays the game for you or gives you an advantage others do not have: bots, auto-farming and auto-clicking tools, macros that act without you, packet tools, speed or memory editors, modified clients, or any program that automates play.

If a program plays while you are away from the keyboard, it is not allowed.

No exploiting bugs

If something in the game or on the website behaves in a way that is obviously wrong, do not use it, do not repeat it, and do not tell others about it before you tell us.

Open a support ticket and describe what you saw and how it happened. Reporting a bug is never punished. Using one is. Anything gained through a bug can be removed, and no payment is made for it.

Real-money trading

Where a game has the official Menaris marketplace, accounts, characters and items can be sold there for real money. The marketplace handles the payment and the delivery, and its own conditions apply.

Outside the official marketplace, any trade for real money, or for anything else of real-world value, is at your own risk. We cannot protect that trade, and we cannot restore what you lose in it: the money, the items or the adena.

An account or a character handed to another person outside the official marketplace is a shared account, and the rules on sharing below apply to it.

Nobody is authorised to sell you anything on our behalf outside this website. Taking someone's money and not delivering what you promised is fraud. It is a serious case.

How you treat other people

Do not harass, stalk or threaten anyone. Do not post hate speech directed at people for who they are. Never post or link sexual content involving minors, anywhere on this service. Do not publish another person's private information, such as a real name, address, workplace or photograph, without their consent.

Do not pretend to be a member of staff, and do not pretend to speak for us.

Do not advertise other servers, sell services, or recruit players for them, in the game or on this website.

No attacks on the service

Do not attack, overload, break into or gain unauthorised access to any part of this service: denial-of-service attempts, scraping that loads the site abnormally, probing for weaknesses, trying other people's passwords, or interfering with other players' connections.

Conduct of this kind may also break the law, and we may report it to the authorities.

Your account is your responsibility

You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not let anyone else use it, and do not play anyone else's: account sharing is not allowed, and the Terms of Service do not allow it either. We act on what the account did. If someone you let in bots on it, the account is banned. If they empty it, we cannot restore what was taken.

We detect account sharing by the PC an account plays on, not by IP address. An account can be played from up to 3 PCs. If you need a new one, open a support ticket and we free a slot for you.

A shared account goes through three steps: a warning, then a 7-day suspension, then a ban of the shared account. The person who plays other people's accounts is told the first time, and sanctioned if it happens again or if they play several accounts.

If you think someone has your account without your permission, change your password at once and open a support ticket. We will look at what you tell us.

Keep your password to yourself and your email secure. Your portal password and your game password are always different values. Your game password is generated for you and is shown exactly once, so save it when it appears. We do not store it and cannot show it again, but you can generate a new one from your account.

Staff will never ask you for a password, of any kind, for any reason. Anyone who asks is not staff. Report them.

What happens when a rule is broken

Cheats, bots and macros are banned on every server, together with everything else these rules forbid.

When a rule is broken, the sanction follows four steps, from the lightest to the heaviest:

  • 1. Warning. We tell you which rule was broken, and nothing else changes.
  • 2. Chat restriction. You can still play, but you cannot write in the game's chat for a set time.
  • 3. Temporary suspension. The account cannot be used for a set time.
  • 4. Permanent ban. The account is closed for good.

Which step we start from depends on what happened, and whether it happened before. Serious cases skip the earlier steps and go straight to a permanent ban, with no warning: cheats, bots and macros that play for you, fraud against another player, attacks on the service, and sexual content involving minors. Account sharing follows its own three steps, set out above.

Sanctions taken in the game are published on the public GM feed, which shows what our game masters do in the game. An entry stays there once it is published.

Items and adena on a suspended or banned account stay with it. Nothing is paid out or transferred.

Nothing here takes away a right you have under the law of your own country.

Appeals and disputes about enforcement

If you think a warning, a chat restriction, a suspension or a ban was wrong, you can appeal it. An appeal is a support ticket of the type Appeal, opened on the game's tickets page, /{game}/tickets, where {game} is the game you play. A suspended or banned account can still reach that page: it can open an appeal there and read our replies. If we suspend your account, the email telling you so links straight to it.

In the appeal, give us the account name, the date and what happened. A person will read it and answer.

A support ticket is the only place for an appeal. There is no appeal in the game, on our Discord or anywhere else, so a ticket is the way to be heard.

Changes to these rules

We may update these rules, and the date at the top shows the current version. A change applies from the day it is published and never backwards to anything that happened before. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated rules.
