Terms of Service

This text is published in English, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish. The English text is the binding version; the translations are provided for convenience, and where a translation differs from the English text, the English text governs.
These terms are the agreement between you and us. Read them before you register or buy anything. "We", "us" and "our" mean Menaris Network. "You" means the person using the service.
Who we are
Menaris Network
menaris.net
For anything about this document or your account, ask us on our Discord (the link is at the bottom of every page) or open a support ticket from your account.
What the service is
Menaris Network is a multi-game online gaming network. Games that are not yet open are announced on the site before they open.
You register one master account at network level. Under it you create game accounts and characters on individual servers.
The website and the game servers are separate systems. The website never connects to a game database. Every change to a game account is a queued command that the game server applies.
The documents that make up this agreement
These Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Refund Policy and the Server Rules together set out the agreement between you and us. The FAQ summarises them in plain words, and where it differs from them, they apply. If you do not accept all of them, please do not use the service.
Eligibility and age
Your date of birth is required when you register.
You must be at least the digital consent age of your own country under Article 8 of the GDPR. That age is 16 unless your country has set a lower one, and it is never below 13. We refuse registration below it.
To buy anything you must be 18 or over. We check your age at the moment of purchase, and every purchase must be authorised by the account holder.
You can correct your date of birth once, through a support ticket, with a written reason. You cannot change it yourself.
Your account
One master account per person. You must verify your email address before you can make any purchase.
Your portal password and your game password are always different values. The game password is generated by us and is shown to you exactly once. We do not store it, so save it when it appears. Keep both passwords to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
The licence we give you to use the service is personal and revocable, and it is for your own play. You may not share, rent or lend your account, and you may not let anyone else use it. An account or a character can change hands for real money only through the official Menaris marketplace, where a game has one (see below).
Playing is free
You can register, create game accounts and play without paying anything.
Each game decides whether it sells anything, and that game's own pages say so. Where something is for sale, we show you before you pay what you are buying, its price in real-world currency and how it is delivered. The Refund Policy explains your right to withdraw from a purchase and get your money back.
This is an electronically supplied service. We are established in Greece and we are not yet registered for the Union One-Stop Shop. Until we register, or until our sales to consumers in other EU countries pass the EUR 10,000 cross-border threshold, Greek VAT applies; from then, VAT is charged at the rate of your own country, and a new version of these terms will say so.
Payments are taken through the payment providers named on the checkout page. Your card and account details are handled by those providers; we never see or store a card number.
The official marketplace
Where a game has the official Menaris marketplace, players can sell accounts, characters and items to each other there for real money. The buyer pays us, we keep a fee that is shown before the sale, and we pay the seller the rest. The marketplace's own conditions are published with it, and they are part of this agreement.
A trade between players for real money anywhere else is at your own risk. We take no part in it, we cannot protect it, and we cannot restore what you lose in it.
How you play
The Server Rules set out how you must play and behave in our games. They are part of this agreement.
In-game items and characters
Your characters, items and progress are part of the service. We operate the game, so content can be changed, rebalanced, reset or removed.
Game master transparency
Every action a game master takes in the game, and every line a staff member types in a staff chat channel, is published on a public feed within about a minute. The feed is permanent and unfiltered: there is no redaction, no editing and no removal. Once something is on the feed, it cannot be taken off it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Server Rules. A suspension does not take away a right of withdrawal you still have under the Refund Policy.
Availability
We do our best to keep the service up, but we give no uptime guarantee. Servers go down for maintenance, for updates and sometimes for reasons outside our control. Downtime does not entitle you to compensation or a refund.
Liability
We are liable to you for loss we cause by breaking this agreement or by failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for loss we could not reasonably have foreseen, for loss of in-game progress or items, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Each change is published as a new version with its own date and applies from the day it is published. It is never retroactive: a purchase stays governed by the version in force when you made it. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new version.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law. If you live in another country, that does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country.
As a consumer, you can bring a claim against us in the Greek courts where we are established, or in the courts of the country you live in. We will bring any claim against you only in the courts of the country you live in.
Getting help
Support tickets are our official two-way channel. If something is wrong with your account or a purchase, open a support ticket. It is usually the fastest route to a real fix. You can also ask our staff on our Discord.
