This text is published in English, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish. The English text is the binding version; the translations are provided for convenience, and where a translation differs from the English text, the English text governs.

This page is a plain-language summary of how the service works. It is not itself a contract. Where a question touches your account, a purchase, age, the rules or your data, the documents that govern are the Terms of Service, the Refund Policy, the Server Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, and if anything on this page differs from them, those documents apply. If something here is unclear, ask us on our Discord.

About the service

What is Menaris Network?

Menaris Network is a multi-game online gaming network. Games that are not yet open are announced on the site before they open.

You register one master account at network level. Under that master account you create game accounts, and under those you create characters on individual servers.

Who runs it?

A small team runs it. The way to reach us is at the end of this page.

Is the website the same thing as the game server?

No. The website (we call it the portal) and the game servers are separate systems. The portal never connects to a game database. Every change to a game account is a command the portal queues and the game server applies.

This is why some things are not instant. A new game account, for example, can take a few seconds to reach the game, and longer if the game server is offline.

Getting started

Can I register now?

Not yet. Registration opens with the beta of our first game, on 1 December 2026. Until then, join our Discord to hear the moment it opens. The Discord link is at the bottom of every page.

How do I start playing?

Once registration is open, seven steps take you from a new account to your first login:

  • Register an account on the website.
  • Verify your email address with the link we send you.
  • Create a game account on the server you want to play on.
  • Save the game password now: it is shown only once.
  • Download the launcher into an empty folder.
  • Run the launcher: it installs the game in that folder.
  • Sign in through the launcher with your game account and its game password, not your website password.

The download page of each game shows the size and the SHA-256 checksum of every file, so you can check that your download is complete and unmodified.

Money

Is it free to play?

Yes. You can register, create game accounts and play without paying anything.

Is there anything to buy?

Each game decides whether it sells anything, and that game's own pages say so. Where something is for sale, you see what you are buying, its price in real-world currency and how it is delivered before you pay.

Can I buy or sell characters and items for real money?

Yes, through the official Menaris marketplace, where a game has one. The buyer pays us, we keep a fee that is shown before the sale, and we pay the seller the rest, so neither side has to trust a stranger. A trade anywhere else is at your own risk: we cannot protect it or get anything back. An account or a character handed over outside the marketplace counts as a shared account.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days. You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the day you paid for it, without giving a reason, and you get back the full price you paid. The Refund Policy explains how.

Do you charge VAT?

Yes, on anything we sell. This is an electronically supplied service. We are established in Greece and we are not yet registered for the Union One-Stop Shop. Until we register, or until our sales to consumers in other EU countries pass the EUR 10,000 cross-border threshold, Greek VAT applies; from then, VAT is charged at the rate of your own country.

Age

How old do I have to be?

To register, you must be at least the digital-consent age of your own country under Article 8 of the GDPR. That is 16 unless your country has set a lower age, and it is never below 13. We ask for your date of birth at registration and it is required.

To buy anything, you must be 18 or over. We check your age at the moment of purchase.

I entered my date of birth wrong.

You cannot change it yourself. You can have it corrected once, through support, with a written reason.

Accounts and passwords

How many accounts can I have?

One master account per person. Under it you can create game accounts and characters.

Can I share my account?

No. An account is for one person. Never give your passwords to anyone, including someone who says they are staff. Account sharing is against the Server Rules and can lead to a ban.

Why do I need to verify my email?

A verified email address is required before you can open a support ticket or buy anything. It is also where we send the link to reset your website password.

Why is my game password different from my website password, and where do I find it?

They are always different values, on purpose. Your website password is the one you chose. Your game password is generated by the portal and is shown to you exactly once, when it is created.

We do not store your game password. If you lose it, we cannot look it up for you: you generate a new one from the portal.

Support and community

How do I contact support?

Before the beta, ask on our Discord. From the beta on 1 December 2026, you can also open a support ticket from your account.

Is there a forum or a community chat?

Yes, our Discord. It has chats in every language of the site, a help forum and a bug-reports forum. The Discord link is at the bottom of every page.

Discord is run by Discord Inc., not by us. Its own terms and privacy policy apply there, as well as our Discord rules. On the website itself there is no forum, no comments, no profile feed and no follow system.

The game master feed

What is the game master feed?

Every action a game master takes in the game, and every line a staff member types in a staff chat channel, is captured and published on a public feed, unfiltered, within about a minute.

Our game masters know this. Players will read the feed on a page inside their account. That page is not open yet.

Can something be removed from it?

No. The feed is permanent. There is no redaction, no suppression, no editing and no removal mechanism of any kind, and published events are excluded from our data-retention deletion jobs.

Once something is on the feed, it cannot be taken off it. If you ever become a member of staff, please understand this before you type anything.

Your data

What do you collect?

Your email address, your website password (hashed with argon2id, never stored in plain text), your display name, date of birth, country and preferred language, IP addresses and a hash of your browser's identification string when you vote, plus your support tickets. If you play with our launcher, it needs your PC's security chip (TPM) to start the game. While chip registration is switched on at the login gate, the gate also keeps an identifier of that chip (a hash of its endorsement key, never the key itself) and which game accounts log in from which PC; they are used for the limits of 3 PCs per game account and 10 game accounts per PC, for the check for virtual machines, and for PC bans. The Privacy Policy lists everything the launcher and the gate keep.

Who processes it for you?

Amazon Web Services (hosting, in the EU), Vercel (website delivery, and counting page views with Vercel Web Analytics if you allow analytics), Amazon SES (email) and Cloudflare (Turnstile bot defence, and delivery of the launcher and game files). When you buy something, the payment provider named on the checkout page takes the payment, and for parts of that work it decides things for itself.

What rights do I have?

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, plus the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The Privacy Policy explains each one.

How do I delete my account?

Ask us by support ticket. The statutory 30-day clock runs from your request.

On erasure we disable your game accounts, delete the login gate's links between them and your PCs, anonymise your account record in place and mark it erased.

What is kept, and for how long?

Published game master feed events stay published permanently, as described above. At the login gate, a PC's chip registration is deleted after 365 days unused and each link between a game account and a PC 365 days after its last use, except the links to a banned PC, which are kept as long as the ban. The Privacy Policy gives the period for everything else.

How do I change my cookie choices?

Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Cookies and similar technologies fall into exactly four categories: strictly necessary (always on, cannot be refused, and needed to log in), analytics, third-party beacons, and game interest, which is not a cookie at all but your consent to hear news about games that are announced but not yet open.

Nothing outside strictly necessary is placed or loaded until you grant the matching consent, and we check that on the server before the page is sent. Refusing costs you nothing and we do not ask again on your next page. Analytics is withdrawn with one click on the Cookie settings page, exactly as it is given. Game interest is withdrawn by opening a support ticket, and we then delete your address. The Cookie Policy has the details.

Who do I complain to?

Start with us: open a support ticket, or ask us on our Discord.

If your complaint is about how we handle your personal data and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Greece that is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, www.dpa.gr.
